Easter is fast approaching, so I thought I’d direct you to a few resources here at The Nourishing Gourmet.

Naturally Dyed Eggs

Last year I experimented with two ways to naturally dye eggs. Onion Skin dyed eggs are actually beautiful. And you can also dye eggs a wide variety of colors, such as pink, green, and yellow using very natural substances. This makes a fun project. See the finished product above.

Naturally Sweet Easter Candy

Treats could include homemade marshmallow chicks, nut butter chocolate eggs, or a wide variety of naturally sweetened candies. I have found it possible to have Easter sweets for my children without having to buy any packaged sweets at the store! For dessert ideas, check out my “Dessert” tab for more ideas.

Naturally Good Easter Food

For a simple brunch/breakfast that is plump full of delicious food, check out this menu that also has a timeline of when to get what done. The menu includes Mango Orange Smoothie, which is a favorite around here as well as Roasted Asparagus with sauteed mushrooms and lemon sauce. Delish!

Other recipe ideas:

Celebration Aebleskivers (Gluten and dairy-free, soaked) are one of my favorite Easter brunch foods.

Sage Apple Turkey Sausage is a simple recipe to make some lovely homemade sausages.

My recent gluten-free sprouted blueberry lemon pancakes would make a very delicious option as well.

Those are just a couple of my ideas. I’d love to hear yours!

Kimi, I am so glad you put this all together. I remembered you had some of these things and I was going to comb through your archive and then I saw this in my inbox! I also linked to it from my blog FB so other people needing things like this can get them. Yay!
