Well, it’s finally here. It’s with a lot of excitement, some nerves, and a glow of love, I am glad to say that my book is now available to buy both in ebook form and printed. Watch the video or read below for more information on this book. It was a lot of fun, a lot of work, and a lot of good food in the making. I hope you enjoy it.

Buy the Ebook version here and the hard copy here, or keep reading for more information.

This cookbook was inspired by the idea that food does not have to be complicated to taste good. Furthermore, good food is real food, such as dark greens, bright pineapple, or savory grassfed steak. The recipes in this book were created with everyday needs in mind. Practical, tasty, and simple enough to enjoy on a regular basis, but also full of nourishing, healthy ingredients.

Recipes include old time favorites such as Caesar Salad, a remake of your mother’s Jello salad (this time made with real food ingredients), and Taco Salad. These versions include fresh ingredients for a more nourishing and fresh flavored dish. For example, Mexican beef is made without a seasoning packet, fruit gelatin is made without reaching for a box of refined sugars and dyes, and salad dressings are made using pure ingredients, with none of the additives and flavor enhancers found in store-bought. In addition to old classics, there is a wide variety of fruit, grain, legume, potato and green salads.

I talked here about some of the back story to this vision for this book. I also posted how I increased my energy by a lot when writing this book here.

I love your website and read it faithfully. This books looks so beautiful!! And the recipes sound delicious. I’ve been wanting to eat more salads but somehow don’t quite get there. I’m going to get this book and really put it into practice. Since I’m on GAPS, no potatoes or rice for me right now but I could sure use those lettuce wrap recipes and classic salads are always a hit in my house. Thanks!! (BTW, you look absolutely radiant in the video. I’m jealous!)

    Kimi,
Your cook book is a complete work of art and full of nourishing principles. I have been desiring something like this for sometime. It is just what has been missing in my meal planning. We had the Taco Salad tonight for dinner and it was so wonderful. I bought the ebook but now want a hard copy too. I am planning on buying several copies for friends for Christmas. Thank you for your labor of love!

      Hi Atlanta,

I should release a page for free download so that people can see the formatting. Will try to make that happen. But yet it is in color and it does have pictures (the pictures in the post above are in my book). 🙂
