I’m excited to offer another giveaway as part of our 12 Days of Christmas series! I’ve had so much fun featuring Christmas worthy recipes and giveaways. If you’ve missed any of the series so far, check out the following links: Double Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix (dairy-free), Apple Oatmeal Mini Loaves Almond Roca, 18 Unique Christmas Gifts, Win Ladled: Nourishing Soups for All Seasons, Chile Spiked Dark Chocolate Bark with Mango, Easy Peasy Caramel Sauce, Rosehip and Hibiscus Tea Gift Set, all of which make wonderful gifts!
Today we are featuring two eBooks that are full of nourishing and delicious recipes.
First, we have an eBook featuring traditional holiday cookies featuring real food ingredients, Nourishing Cookies for a Healthy Holiday. (Affiliate links). Recipes include delights such as Chocolate Crinkle Cookies, Mexican Orange Cookies, No Bake Coconut Snowballs, Buttered Cutout Cookies, and more. These recipes are perfect for sharing with others. I think that this book’s strength is building a bridge between how a “nourishing foodie” family eats, and the typical American friend that you’d like to share cookies with.
While most of them aren’t gluten-free (we eat a gluten-free diet), I find these recipes useful as we still make cookies to share with others that don’t use our expensive gluten-free sprouted flours, but are still made with wonderful real food ingredients. It’s a wonderful resource for us as we head into Christmas cookie season ahead! It’s a great way to show friends how lovely real food cookies can be. The author, Diana from My Humble Kitchen, has done us all a service by writing this lovely book.
The second book we are giving away is Steeped: Simple Nourishing Teas and Treats. This wonderful eBook is written by one of the writers here at The Nourishing Gourmet! Katie Stanley is a lovely person who not only is a great cook, but shares her love and life with deaf girls in a home in Mexico. Her latest recipe here is the great recipe for a dairy-free Double Hot Chocolate mix, which is perfect for gift giving. (She blogs at Nourishing Simplicity as well)
In this 115-page eBook, Katie shares many wonderful recipes for scones, muffins, sorbets and ice cream, sandwiches, your own tea blends, and more. This is such a perfect example of lovely, nourishing, sweet foods. I think that tea time is such a sad lost art, and we all would be better for making time to relax with a cup of good tea in our hand, and a scone in front of us, perhaps while chatting with a good friend. So I was really excited about this eBook, as I think it will inspire you to have fun with teatime in your house! But, of course, many of the recipes can be enjoyed at breakfast, or as dessert, or for lunches as well. Katie also soaks her whole grain ingredients for better nutrition and digestibility and naturally sweetens her recipes s well, which I find a huge plus. Like Diana’s eBook, this one is also not gluten-free (just a for-your-information, as I know I have some gluten-free readers here).

Diet tips or recipes for nursing moms with allergy kiddos. I’m new to being dairy, soy, gluten, peanut, egg and citrus free all for my new little one. It’d be great to have a dedicated resource to make this path easier since we’re dealing with enough major life changes and sleep deprivation already. 🙂

Hmm, maybe your next book could be a beginner’s guide? I still consider myself a relative beginner in all things whole and good and nourishing

We love breakfast in our home but making yummy breakfast treats grain free has been less than stellar. So some help with breakfast treats would be great in a new book. Thank you!

Please continue your “…For All Seasons”, and make it a series. You could compile “Breakfasts”, or “Vegetables”, and include fermented veggies…
