I received my Ladled cookbook yesterday and made the Mexican torilla soup last night. It was great. I like that there are soups I have never heard of and that I can make each recipe my own by adding or minusing an ingredient. This cookbook is very pretty and well thought out. It is my Christmas present to myself for my family! I really love the salad cookbook Fresh too. I have been whipping up delicious salads since I received it about 1 week ago. The Greek is our favorite so far. Ladled came at just the right time because our weather has gotten so cold in the last day that I will be making endless soups. By the way, thanks for the endless stock recipe. I have that going too. God Bless and Merry Christmas!
Ladled is beautiful! I read through most of it oh so carefully as it’s for my best friend for Christmas but I just had to peek. Oh my, I can hardly to get one for myself. In the meantime, maybe she will prepare lots of soup and invite us over! ;o)
I received a copy of Labeled for Christmas from my husband’s mother. I know she preordered it b/c she was so anxious that it wouldn’t arrive in time that she bought me a lovely bamboo ladle as a token gift, just in case. I actually happen to know she just threw away the Amazon label that came with the book. 🙁 Is there anything I can do to get in on this offer?
