Merry Christmas! Before I log out for a few days for my Christmas break, I thought I’d share one more fun idea with you. To make a delicious (and healthier) “chocolate coal”, you can simply make my original fudge recipe or the maple chocolate fudge, make irregular balls, roll in cocoa powder and present in a small bag or box of sorts labeled “coal from Santa”.
Do note that this recipe will be quite heat sensitive (hanging in a stocking over a roaring fire would not be a good idea!). You can coat the balls in melted chocolate before rolling in cocoa powder for a little more stability, or just use my truffle recipe to make the balls.
I hope that everyone has a wonderful Christmas! I am looking forward to relaxing with my family, eating good food, giving some presents, and, most of all, celebrating Christ’s birth. This year we are going to several church services, which will be special. I love Christmas!
Merry Christmas, everyone!
