Thank you to all my readers who have been so patient with my lack of postings lately. Life has brought some circumstances into our life recently that has taken me away from blogging as much as I would have liked too. I will be sharing more about what’s been going on in my family next week. Meanwhile, before the weekend hits, I wanted to let you know that Jenny from Nourished Kitchen is having the last few days of her sign up today for her ecourse! So, if you would like to take her ecourse (and it looks great!), please don’t delay.

Here’s a little more information about it.

What I’ve always appreciated about Jenny is her dedication to farmer’s and her involvement in the farmer’s market world herself. I am glad to hear that she is weaving that love of hers into her lessons too! Make sure you read all of the promo information on her site, watch her video’s and view her sample lesson too.

Jenny’s lesson plan is as follows (read more detailed information about each lesson and week on her site).

Lesson #1: What is Real Food & Where to Find It
Lesson #2: Soak Whole Grain for Pilafs and Scones
Lesson #3: Homemade Sourdough Bread
Lesson #4: Homemade Salad Dressings
Lesson #5: Braise and Roast Seasonal Vegetables
Lesson #6: Make Real Pickles and Fermented Veggies
Lesson #7: Roasted & Slow-cooked Meats
Lesson #8: Stocks, Broths & Soups
Lesson #9: Easy Homemade Yogurt & Cheese
Lesson #10: How to Make Water Kefir & Kombucha
Lesson #11: Natural Sweeteners, Desserts and Seasonal Fruits
Lesson #12: Menus & Meal Planning

Sounds like a delicious and fruitful class time!

Some of you have been asking for more specifics on my own ecourse (fast coming up in June). I will be announcing all of the information about it in the next few weeks, so stay tuned for that. I am really excited about it! Meanwhile, for the truly anxious, you can email me at kimiDOTharrisATgmailDOTcom for more information. (Still working on a title for it, but you can bet your bottom dollar that the course will be covering both the nourishing and the frugal factor of real food).

Meanwhile, you only have a few days left to sign up for Jenny’s, so don’t forget to check it out if you haven’t already.

Would love to sign up for your ecourse but cannot afford it. Perhaps you could do a second run after some time for those interested.
