(AnnMarie and Me with Chaffin Orchards. I get my olive oil from them. So mild, organic, small farm, USA grown, and a great price. They just got some new oil in, so they should be back on our resource page soon. )
After coming in pretty late to the airport last night, and quickly falling alseep in my own bed, I’ve woken up to the realities of normal life! I have a house to clean, a dear little three year old to take care of (who has received a lot of cuddles today) and some unpacking too. I will be up and blogging again like normal soon as well. There are a few guest posts coming up too! Yeah! Meanwhile, two reminders.
If you haven’t yet, sign up for the giveaway of Nina’s new book, Real Food for Mother and Baby. I will be announcing the winner soon.
Secondly, don’t forget that we have a themed carnival this Thursday! Come prepared to share your recipes, tips and ideas for homemade gifts! I can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Whew! Get some rest. And I just want to say I’m in the middle of reading Nina Planck’s book and have started eating more fish…

Oh, I agree the Pure Indian Foods Ghee is amazing, I got a couple of jars of the new flavored ones and also a regular. It was nice to meet you at the conference, and thank you so much for a wonderful blog, you are my favorite real food blog!!

I bought some of the Pure Indian Ghee from Azurstandard.com recently and i’m not sure how to use it. Do you cook with it?
Elizabeth from The Nourished Life
Ghee is great for cooking, because it has a high smoking point. So it’s perfect for sauteeing and pan frying. You can also use it in place of butter on things like corn, popcorn, bread or oatmeal. The website also says you can eat it right out of the jar, but I guess that might be a personal preference. 🙂

I’m sure it feels terrific to be home. My co-blogger, Adriana, had a chance to speak with you at the conference and said you were lovely to talk to. I’m hoping I can make it next year; it sounded wonderfully informative and fun.
