ng_saladNot only are these salad dressing void of sugar, soy and canola oil, but they are brimming with good ingredients, like organic tomotoes, sweet onions, carrots, and kalamata olives. And then, to make them even better, they are cultured and kept raw! Brimming with good for you ingredients, enzymes intact, and then cultured! How good can it get?

Zukay’s has partnered up with Real Food Media to give away a full case of their dressing! Wow!

Kelly the Kitchen Kop, Cheeseslave, Food Renegade and myself are all participating. (By the way, you can only enter the contest on one of our blogs, as the new format Real Food Media is doing only allows one entry for each person. There will be one winner from each site. )

Zukay’s generously sent us all samples of this new line of products and they were very delicious. I just loved them (as you can tell in the photo above, we’ve used up a lot of the dressing already!). I found that they went well over steamed vegetables, and with a drizzle of olive oil they were fabulous over salad greens. I find that they are more mild in flavor then a vinegar based dressing, so that even my two year old liked them. She especially liked the sweet onion basil flavor, my favorite was the tomato provencal, which is pictured below.

Hi, Kimi! I’m so excited about this giveaway and your site in general. So, I’m trying for all the entries I can get. I tried to find you on Facebook, but there are tons of Kimberly Harris’s and none of the Kimi Harris I saw had a picture. How do we find you? And what is your Twitter screen name? Thanks! 🙂 What I meant to say is that the Zukay dressing giveaway is so cool. They sound amazing and they are not sold in California yet, so I’d need to order online to get them anyway.

Already a subscriber, so please enter me in the drawing. I do feel a bit disappointed that most blogs I subscribe to give more chances to win based on a person have a blog, a Facebook account or twittering. I don’t do any of those. Some blogs only have contests for those who post a link on their website/blog. Am I correct in assuming that bloggers do this to increase their readership, thus increasing sponsorship, thus increasing revenue?

    Corinne,

I understand your disappointment! I was actually planning on not doing that part of give aways again, just because I felt like it was a lot of work for me to have to count up everyone’s entries (so was just not wanting to bother with it from pure laziness, 😉 ), but I had to follow the protocol for Real Food Media’s Giveaways, and this was how they asked us to do it. A big part of the reason why, is so that we can bring more attention to Zukay’s new product for them. As we only do this for products that we really like and want to support, we try to draw as much attention to them as we can. I don’t know if I will really get any new readers from it, but hopefully it will give them some new customers. 🙂

Hi Kimi! I just signed up for e-mail updates. My 4 year old and 7 year old son have Celiac. The family went gluten free 3 months ago. We have been eating transfat free and organic for about 2 years now. A few days ago I read how Nourishing Traditions influenced you. I bought the book and have read half of it. Thank you! I feel challenged to provide a greater level of healthy meals for my family.
