Don’t miss out: Spicy Salsa

August 27, 2012 by KimiHarris 8 Comments

Last week Kristin’s post, sharing a delicious, healthy spicy salsa recipe, got “hidden” by an error on the backend of this blog. It was posted under a couple of older posts, so many of you didn’t see it! Don’t miss out on this delicious recipe, find it here.

In other news, I am busy working on topics for the upcoming fall. Any recipes/topics you want to see here at The Nourishing Gourmet? Please let me know!

I love beautiful and simple food that is nourishing to the body and the soul. I wrote Fresh: Nourishing Salads for All Seasons and Ladled: Nourishing Soups for All Seasons as another outlet of sharing this love of mine. I also love sharing practical tips on how to make a real food diet work on a real life budget. Find me online elsewhere by clicking on the icons below!

    Hi Kimi!

I’ve really enjoyed following your blog, trying out your recipes and learning lots about eating more healthy! 🙂

I would love to hear some of your ideas and wisdom on feeding toddlers a healthy diet, getting more veggies in their diets, and your thoughts on giving them vitamins. 🙂

Thank you so much and the Lord bless you!

Hi Kimi, I’m with Sarah! I need more ideas on foods that toddlers enjoy eating. My wee one has never been introduced to unhealthy foods but still has his fussy toddler ways – and I’m just never sure exactly what to feed him. He absolutely loves your Sloppy Joes in a Bowl recipe 🙂

I just purchased your Fresh cookbook yesterday and hope it’ll give me some more inspiration, certainly with the New Zealand summer coming up – yay!

My neighbours all adore your chocolate fudge recipe – though now I make it for them and keep eating it myself…

Thanks for all you do 🙂

I have a picky toddler myself, so it would be fun to open that topic up. Will do soon.

    Hi Kimi,
I’d love for you to continue focusing on/sharing simple food as we go into fall. I’m all ears for any recipes or ideas regarding breakfast, sourdough, and crock pot dinners.
    Thanks!

I’d love a wild rice recipe or a post looking at why wild rice is so different from all others. (My ALCAT came back that I was severely intolerant of rice, but not at all intolerant of wild rice.) Thanks! Whenever I drop in I get so excited to see what beautiful pictures and posts will appear on my screen! They so often follow my thought flow, it’s amazing!
