What I Use

Welcome!

This page shares products, phone apps, and whatever else I actually use in my weekly, everyday life.

If you want to get the full story behind each product, please sign up for my newsletter where I share more details on items as I add them to this page!

My much used Milk Frother

Essential Oil Blend for Warts: Plant Therapy No More Warts Blend

This book light is great! It has various degrees of brightness including a mode for warm light that is better for night time. It also is rechargeable so that you don’t have to buy expensive batteries. Get it here.

I recently bought this spice and salt grinder from Trader Jo’s and we all love it! I use it on baked chicken, homemade French fries, in soups and stews, over fried eggs, and over roasted vegetables as well. Because it’s ground fresh right before using it, it give a delicious punch of flavor.

Lemon water is a wonderful way to get hydrated and all of the benefits of citrus fruits into your diet. Research, tips, and methods shared here. -- The Nourishing Gourmet

I love this lemon juicer! It is super easy and fast to use, gets all of the juice out of the lemon, and is easy on the hands. You can get it here on Amazon.

I wasn’t a fan until I tried this brand, and it won me over to dandelion root tea! The cocoa shells, orange and vanilla really make it well-rounded. Try with honey and/or cream or coconut cream. You can find it here, and in some local stores.

I’m not brand loyal to just one brand of essential oils because I think there are many superior oils out there! However, for my family I look first for quality, and second for affordability. I’ve been really impressed with Rocky Mountain Oils for both of those reasons. Here are the three oils pictured above: frankincense,  lavender, and copaiba, all three of which I love. My second choice is Plant Therapy essential oils, which are very inexpensive, and also available on Amazon. You can check out their very affordable prices here: Plant Therapy Essential Oils.

  • Skimmer Ladle: These are PERFECT for removing the bones and vegetable remnants with little hassle. (We also use it to get noodles out of the pot once they are done cooking). We’ve been using this Asian Spider Strainer. If you want an even clearer broth, use a skimmer ladle like this Super Fine Mesh Strainer Ladle.

Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C: Did you know that you absorb very little of most vitamin C supplements? I use these Lypo-Spheric vitamin C packets instead of Emergen-C for highly absorbable vitamin C.
