A Few Notes

November 8, 2008 by KimiHarris 3 Comments

I am sorry to say that I don’t have any links to share today, but I did want to make two quick comments.

First, don’t forget about our Nourishing Holiday Food Carnival coming up on the 18th! I would love to hear what nourishing and delicious dishes you have planned. Please join us then and read about the carnival here. Feel free to spread the word, and use the above image on your blog, if you like!

Secondly, our Maca trial is continuing, but we had to take a few days break as we were waiting for one of the other testers to get the maca powder back to us. We will have our last update on maca next week, and then will be moving on to the back to back taste testing! Many of you have asked if I recommend a certain brand. I personally have not noticed much difference between the different brands. But I have noticed them tasting differently. It will take the back to back test tasting to really say for sure which brands I prefer. So stay tuned!

I love beautiful and simple food that is nourishing to the body and the soul. I wrote Fresh: Nourishing Salads for All Seasons and Ladled: Nourishing Soups for All Seasons as another outlet of sharing this love of mine. I also love sharing practical tips on how to make a real food diet work on a real life budget. Find me online elsewhere by clicking on the icons below!

    Hi Kimi!
I discovered your blog last month and have loved looking through it! I love to bake and your blog is so inspiring:) There are some recipes that I am looking forward to trying and wondered if it is all right with you if I print out some of your recipes with the web address on the bottom? It seems like I remember you posted something about blogs copying your recipes in an earlier post…I just wanted to make sure it’s okay to print them out for my personal recipe binder.
    Thanks!

    Ana,

Please, please feel free too! I think the post you were referring to was one where I talked about my decision not to post recipes from other bloggers (unless I had permission). 🙂 I am honored that you want to use my recipes. 🙂
