You may have noticed that I haven’t been blogging quite as much lately. There are many reasons for that. The biggest is a growing bundle of joy named Aria, and her big sister Elena Belle. Being a “mom first” means my blogging and other projects have to be well balanced. I don’t want to be a “mom first” work at home mom, who just works at home and doesn’t interact with her children. So I have been having lots of cuddle times with the little one, reading time with the older one and enjoying them both. That is, in between a sister getting married, a husband being in school, meals to be made, laundry to be done, dishes to be washed, and piano teaching. Blogging aside, life is just busy right?
But don’t worry. That doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy behind the scenes here at The Nourishing Gourmet. I have over 30 committed recipe testers working with me on one of my projects….a project I hope to have completed in the next few weeks. I have been cooking up a storm, let me tell you. And I can’t wait to share these recipes with you. The above pictures is one of the recipes just sent out to the recipe testers this week. And it was yummy.
Meanwhile, I have enjoyed connecting to many of my readers on my facebook page. I may not always have time to write a whole post on a topic, but I often share a link to topics important to my readers and I there. I’ve also enjoyed asking questions of everyone. It’s been so fun! I would love to connect with you there, so like my page if you want to join in on the conversations. It’s a great way to stay connected.
And stay tuned for more information on my project! I am looking forward to sharing it with you.

Those cuddle and reading times are but a brief season, nothing is more important. 🙂
