Yesterday I poured out my heart to you in a more personal letter about what to do when you feel overwhelmed by healthy living or eating. I hope that the three tips I shared are helpful for those of who resonated with my “in the trenches” with you post.
Today, I want to share some encouraging resources! I hope that some of these can help you in your “mini goals” like I talked about yesterday. All of these are part of The Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle that I am partnering with this week, only but you can also buy them all separately (if you are reading this during the bundle week, please take advantage of it, as it’s an AMAZING deal – so much more frugal as it costs less than $30.)
And, I am buying a bundle to giveaway to one of you!
This bundle is an amazing resource of eBooks, eCourses, and bonus offers from healthy living companies for a really low price. In total, these eBooks and eCourses are worth $1900 when bought individually, and then you have the bonus offers on top of that as well!
So on to the nine resources from the bundle (or to buy individually)
My Salad Cookbook
I wrote this book to share my love of salads of all kinds. Salads get a really bad rap, and they don’t deserve it. Well, the restaurant old lettuce, yucky dressing salads deserve the bad rap (and they aren’t even healthy!). But salads made with vibrant ingredients easy and delicious homemade salad dressing, and topped with loads of yummy ingredients should be celebrated! My salad cookbook is a full sized cookbook. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it. You can read more about Fresh: Nourishing Salads for all Seasons here, and get it (and a whole boatload of other resources here in the bundle) here.
An Essential Oil eCourse for Families by an Aromatherapist
Essential oils are popular right now (that’s an understatement – they are spectacularly popular). And that’s why education about how to use them properly is so important. I believe in that so strongly that I wrote this post last year about essential oils – and some of you, my readers, have since then shared your scary stories of using them wrongly and paying the consequences. The Essential Oil for Families eCourse goes over some really important information, like the risks and benefits of taking it internally, essential oils during pregnancy and babies, safety protocols you need to know to use them effectively and safely, and 80 recipes to get you started in using them! This is worth $130 dollars, and you get it as part of the bundle for $30!! So I’d recommend you buy this through the bundle, even if you aren’t interested in anything else. (Buy it here otherwise)
Free Essential Oils
If you redeem the bonus offer from Plant Therapy, you get a free bottle of lavender, peppermint, and lemon with the bundle! I know that money can be tight, and essential oils can be expensive, so this is lovely to have as a bonus offer to the bundle. I’ve already redeemed mine, and can’t wait to replenish my own supply. (To buy them separately, here is a great Plant Therapy Essential Oil Set )
The Grain Free Snacker, by Carol Lovett
Now there are a ton of resources in the bundle, and I haven’t had the chance to even glance over all of them yet, but this one really stuck out to me, and truthfully has so many recipes I want to try! First of all, the book is long and full of beautiful photos and recipes. Secondly, they are super fun! And thirdly, they fill in the gap of what grain-free snacks and special foods you can feed your family when gluten or grain-free. If you’d like to buy it individually, instead of in the bundle, go here.
Easy Paleo Gelatin Treats
My recipes for Tart Cherry Snacks was popular, so I think a lot of you will love this eBook sharing 30 treats using gelatin, such as gummies, puddings, and smoothies. This book definitely as the “fun” and “kid-friendly” factor too. (You can buy it here, individually).
A Fitness Program that takes 30 minutes or less
The bundle has a whole fitness section, but the two that stuck out to me were the two that address diastasis recti (read my post about mommy tummies here) and the Thrive90 program. I personally signed up for the Thrive90 program! I liked that it takes less than 30 minutes each day. (You can see and buy the Thrive90 program individually here)
Cultured (Lacto-Fermented) eBooks and eCourses
The bundle offers two eCourses from two of my favorite collegues on the topic of culturing fruits and vegetables. Jenny from Nourished Kichen and Lacto-Fermentation from Gnowfglin (Wardeh Harmon). I was so impressed with the amount of high quality eCourses this year in the bundle, and these two I was especially excited about. If eCourses aren’t really your think, you can also check out Oh Lardy’s Guide to Fermenting Fruits and Vegetables, which you can buy individually here.
The Safe Starch Cookbook by Russ Crandall
For those of you who follow a paleo or grain-free diet, but do need to use some of the “safe” paleo approved starches, Russ from The Domestic Man does an amazing job sharing mouth watering, healthy recipes using these safe starches. Get it individually here.
Once a Month Cooking Service
For those of you who love to make food in mass and then have it at the ready whenever needed, this membership service gives you recipes, shopping lists, and all of the planning for you with categories for Paleo, Traditional, Whole Foods, Gluten/Dairy Free, Baby Food, Vegetarian, Diet, and others. It’s a two month free membership with the bundle! Check it out here, to buy it individually.
So there are obviously many, many more great things I can highlight in the bundle, but these were the ones that stuck out to me the first time looking over everything. I’d love to hear what interests you!
Giveaway closed: Congrats Dana! I’ve emailed you. 🙂

The most interesting thing to me is the grain-free cookbook as I have been living a gluten-free diet (started because I have endometriosis, but I will continue it forever because I KNOW it is the right thing for my body). And, my next lifestyle change will be to go completely grain-free. This would be a great resource that would help me and my family (as I am the main cook) stay on our healthy path. Thank you!
Mel Hux
Oh. My… Do I ever want to be entered for this giveaway! Will the drawing take place before the Early Bird price change? Because I need this bundle for our home 😉
KimiHarris
Unfortunately, I believe the early bird price change will be gone tomorrow. 🙁
Mel Hux
I did see that! But it’ll stay $30 even after tomorrow, right? My understanding is that Early Bird qualifies as the extra $10, e-reader inclusion? I hope so!
Mel Hux
Kimi, I just looked at the site and saw that the Early Bird offer is already over. Thanks for replying to my initial comment!
Mel Hux
Out of this list, the first resource that I got most giddy about was The Grain-Free Snacker. Ok, doesn’t help that there’s a CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE on the cover! My hopes would be that there are plenty, non-sugary options in the book as well, since my family loves to snack AND I’ve been wondering lately whether some of my skin issues (*regular* eczema and hive flare-ups; without a gluten allergy) have been linked to the amount of grains I consume per day. Who knows. Husband also can’t stomach too many grains without feeling burpy and heavy (what the heck?)!
So that one would be my first choice!

My favourite item in this package would be the “Essential Oils for Families” as I’m just starting to use them. I’m liking the effects that I’m seeing so far, but there is so much more I’d like to learn about them.

Hello.
I’d love to be entered please.
I’m most interested in the Grain Free Snacks cookbook. I miss my snacks and biscuits so much. I’ve tried a few recipes and not had much joy, flakey broken floppy messes :-/
Gillian
As to which resource looks the most interesting, it’s a three way tie! I love salads, and love Ladled, so I’d be very happy with your cookbook. I am also very interested in learning more about both essential oils and fermentation. My son has seasonal allergies that I think could be helped with the oils, and while both my kids love homemade sauerkraut, I’d like to expand my repertoire.

I’d like them to be hardbacked as well! Thank you for the comment. I am thankful that there are other options than just eBook for them though. 🙂
