Nourishing Resources
Welcome to my resources page!
I’ve long wanted to have advertisers on my site that I can really support. Teaming up with Real Food Media has been the answer for me. This page is designed to give my readers real food resources from advertisers whom I fully support. What a wonderful match!
Check out the sites below to companies that produce and/or support real food. Please note that the links below are “pay-per-click” advertisements and I do earn a small amount of money when you click. The money I earn supports this blog and keeps me blogging.

What If There Are No Listings Under A Category?
If you don’t see anything under a category, it means we either don’t have a sponsor or they are not showing up at the current time. Please check back; we are adding more listings all the time.
Note: If you are using an ad blocker, you will not see any links. Please disable your ad blocker.
Local Listings
We love to support local food! Under each category you may see companies that are local to you. Some of these are “geo-targeted” listings that will only show up for people in your local area. In other words, if you look at the site in another city or state, you may not see the listing. This is a way to help smaller sponsors advertise in their local communities, or just in the states where they sell their products or services.

Hi Kimi
I am writing to inform you that I have linked to you on the new WAPF – Davis, CA website as a Traditional Food Blog/Journal.
Thanks for all you do – I love every single one of your blogs!

Hi, I was trying to find a link on how to contact you, or to find a relevant topic to ask my question. I tried to find a recipe search bar to look there to get my question answered too. So either there isn’t one, or I am just not patient enough = ) anyway. I was wondering if you have tried and succeeded with making your own sprouted corn tortillas. I have my corn sprouted (although, I did not use any salt, and the websites I searched say Lime – they don’t mean the fruit, they mean that powdery calcium stuff), and I am just not sure what to do, and can’t seem to find any info on making sprouted masa! Any input?
North Star Bison = AMAZING GRASS-FED MEATS!! Check out their website: northstarbison.com
I had a hard time finding the sign up for the free grain mill. Is there a trick. The other sign ups were obvious.
I have two of the three books already.

I have a question about iodine. Since we are using table salt the has iodine added, what is the best, most economical way to get the iodine the body needs? It would seem that I need to “supplement” the whole family. Thanks
Hey gang.
I know I read here, at length, great articles on the evils of soy in the diet these days and now I
can’t find it. Could you help with this again?
You references another woman who wrote about it at length. A Dr. I beleive.
Thanks for any help you can give. Bonnie
Great website though. I have all my dairy free /vegan/ celiac friends into you now too.
Hello!
Is there a substitute for coconut and palm oil?
I can’t tolerate coconut oil. (It is weird b/c I buy the high-quality brands, but they just smell disgusting to me and I gag from the smell when I melt it!)
It will take a long time to get palm oil (live in the boonies) and I am obsessed with making some of your soaked-grain recipes (biscuits, Irish Soda Bread)!!
Can I use butter or ghee?
Thanks for any tips.
