Last week in Pennywise Platter Thursday, there were many gems. One soup that I thought stretched out seafood effectively was A Modern Gal’s Seafood Gumbo. And Real Food For Less Money’s Sweet and Sour Venison Meatballs just sound delicious!

Oh, gosh, sorry about the double posting and the typos, to boot! (Accidentally hit enter before I finished.) This week I shared about rendering animal fats and how to make a traditional Jewish food called gribenes.

How about some cabbage soup? Made even better with meatballs. Incidentally, the crumbs used in making this at my house are bread ends from my homemade sourdough.

The Spicy Tofu is so good that I bet I could get hubby to pretend to be me and post the recipe while I’m traveling!
