First, many of you have been asking for the recipe index to be update for weeks. I’ve finally accomplished that. I hope that helps you in finding recipes! As usual I found a lot of recent yummy recipes that I’d already forgotten about, like the pictured above yellow plum sorbet (which would work just as well with regular plums)  Check  out the recipe index here.

Second, don’t forget that Pennywise Platter Thursday is tomorrow! I look forward to reading your frugal and nourishing tips. If you haven’t joined in yet, please do! I would love to have you involved.

Thirdly, if you haven’t yet, sign up for Cultures for Health’s giveaway of no less than three cultures of your choice!  A wonderful opportunity to get a jump start with your own set of cultures. The giveaway will be open until Friday night.

I’m seeing ads for pillsbury grands biscuits on the left and right sides of this post. WTF?

Jon,

Yes, google ads do have many un-nourishing items on it! I am hoping to get more “nourishing” ads soon. :-)

Thanks for updating the index! I made the crockpot spaghetti sauce and the lemon garlic drumsticks last week and my husband LOVED both!

Good heavens! Now it’s on both sides of the screen and the biscuits are mooooving! Spooky! Maybe the Pillsbury biscuits are meant as a Halloween prank. LOL! Definitely scary enough to be! :)

I enjoy the irony, that they’re pushing floating fake biscuits at us while you’re telling what we should cook instead :D
